Bruce is a Senior Contributing Analyst at Teal Group. He is responsible for editing the World Power Systems Briefing – Industrial and Marine Gas Turbines, and the Defense and Aerospace Agencies Briefing, as well as providing contributing analysis for Civil Aviation consulting projects at Teal.

Bruce re-joined Teal in the summer of 2019 after 15 years in the aircraft leasing business during which he held senior planning roles at both CIT Aerospace and Intrepid Aviation, where he assessed and advised on the acquisition of aircraft for both companies’ aircraft leasing portfolios. At Intrepid Aviation he also worked closely with the sales teams at both Airbus and Boeing in helping to place leased aircraft to airlines around the world.

Prior to his aircraft leasing career and his first appointment at Teal, during which he edited both volumes of the World Power Systems Briefing, Bruce worked for several smaller civil aircraft OEMs in marketing and analysis roles including British Aerospace (now BAE Systems), Dornier Aviation and Rolls-Royce. At Rolls-Royce, he worked closely with sales teams at Airbus, Boeing and Embraer in the marketing and placement of Rolls-Royce powered aircraft to airlines in North America. While working for these companies Bruce held board positions on industry councils, including the Air Transport Research International Forum (ATRIF) and the Transportation Research Board (TRB), and participated in many aviation industry conferences.

Bruce has a B.A. in Economics from George Washington University and an MBA from Georgetown University.
